Scout (they/them) has a special gift and can see superheroes when other people cannot. Scout’s mom is a pilot who takes the family on all sorts of adventures around the world. Every place they go, Scout searches far and wide for real life superheroes!
“The Birdieman of Rio de Janeiro” is Scout’s first Superhero Search! Stay tuned as Scout travels the globe, finding and teaching about real life superheroes from the Global South while fighting implicit bias and discrimination!
Scout’s Superhero Search
Over the past 17 years, Sebastiao and his good friend Ramos built an enormous and impressive badminton facility day by day, brick by brick. He created his own system to teach the kids championship badminton: using the steps of Samba dance to learn the footwork and increase their fitness level.
Many of the youth are now competing and winning national and international tournaments! Miratus has successfully trained hundreds of young people in a new sport through local innovative ideas and methods.
